dr. Sarah Duignan
Host and creator of AnthroDish, Sarah is a medical anthropologist, writer, and podcaster from Guelph, Canada. Through her award-winning AnthroDish podcast and biweekly newsletter, Duignan explores relationships between food, culture, health, and environment. Her writing has been featured in The Conversation Canada, Kitchen Work Magazine, Salon, and Culturally Modified. Her work has also been featured in CBC Radio, the National Observer, The Preserve Journal, Sliced by Fed, and This Needs Hot Sauce. She received her PhD in 2021 from McMaster University, with her academic research articles being published in Social Science & Medicine (2022) and in Indigenous Water and Drought Management in a Changing World (Elsevier Press, 2022).
